Together with EducaExternal Link Icon, we invite you to the dialogue event ‘Digital readiness of the Swiss education system’. Digital readiness in education refers to the ability of educational institutions, teachers and learners to use digital technologies and resources effectively for learning, teaching and management. This preparedness includes several important components such as equitable access to technology, digital literacy of individuals and the use of digital tools and resources in the classroom.

Selected research teams will present their research findings at the dialogue event. In the subsequent discussion round, practitioners will comment on the results before there will be the opportunity to contribute to the plenary discussion. The event is aimed at representatives of the education sector and cantonal administration, those involved in digitalisation in education and other interested parties.

The presentations will be in the national languages German and French. Participation is free of charge, but the number of places is limited.

The National Research Programme 77 “Digital Transformation” (NRP 77) includes dialogue events on various core topics. Research findings are presented and their practical relevance is discussed at the dialogue events. All dialogue events are open to the public and free of charge.
